Passengers wishing to eat and shop are well catered for at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC). There are many additional facilities spread around its two main terminal buildings and five concourse areas.

Should you leave something at the airport, there is a Lost and Found office located on Terminal 1's mezzanine level, which is open between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00, Monday to Friday. There are also paging services, infant care facilities a division handling medical emergencies, pet relief areas, a Sky Club for Delta Airlines passengers, and telephones with direct lines to nearby hotels, for travelers needing to arrange accommodation.


Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets


Salt Lake City Airport boasts award-winning shopping facilities, based at both of the terminal buildings. These shops include gift shops selling popular souvenirs, food outlets, newsagents and bookstores, should you require some reading material for your journey.

Bars, Cafés and Restaurants


There are numerous places to eat at Salt Lake City's airport, with popular dining options including the Blue Burrito Grille, Cinnabon, the City Deli, Finnigan's, Granato's Italian Deli, Krispy Kreme, Manchu Wok, Millcreek Coffee Roasters, the Squatters Pub Brewery and the Wall Street Deli. There are also a number of familiar names onsite, namely Burger King, Pizza Hut and Starbucks.

Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities


A full-service bank awaits customers within Terminal 2's main lobby area, where it is operated by Zions Bank and is the best place to come for competitive currency exchange. There are also a number of ATM cashpoints spread around the airport, supporting cards such as American Express, Cirrus, MasterCard and Visa, amongst others.

Business demands are best met within Terminal 2's Laptop Lane Business Center. Also in this terminal, you can also fax and photocopy at the Zions Bank branch, as well as at Regus Express. Wi-Fi access is throughout the entire airport, meaning that you can access the Internet wherever you are.

Disabled Facilities


Disabled facilities include all of the basics, such as elevators, well-placed ramps, disabled bathrooms, and TDD telephones with LED screens by many of the terminal gates, e.g. A4, B4, B5, C6 and C7. Wheelchairs can be arranged when you get to the ticket counters, although they are best reserved in advance.

Other Facilities


Other facilities at SLC include televisions, a paramedic service, a beauty center and ski rental, while there is also a golf course next-door. For families at the airport, the children's play areas at Concourses A, B and E provide a useful place for youngsters to let off some steam. Also onsite are FedEx drop boxes in Terminal 1 (Concourse A) and in Terminal 2 (between Concourse C and D), portable DVD players for hire at InMotion Pictures, language translation at the Airport Control Center, and a Lost and Found center.
